Why is this article at the scientific name? Aren't articles usually placed at the common name?

What is the common name of this spider? Drutt (talk) 18:41, 19 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I've also heard that this live in the US, and specifically in the states of NV and UT (and presumably many others). The Jade Knight (talk) 01:55, 31 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's possible that other species are also called the "Yellow Sac Spider"; Cheiracanthium mildei may be one such species which is found in the US. The Jade Knight (talk) 19:22, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
One website: "In the United States inclusum (indigenous) and mildei (introduced) are the species most likely to be found, and the most likely to produce bites: These two spiders have a wide distribution in the United States, and precise ranges for them have not been defined."
This particular species is not found in the US, but other Cheiracanthium species (also called "Yellow Sac") are. I've changed the "Yellow Sac Spider" redirect to point to the proper article (Cheiracanthium. The Jade Knight (talk) 23:17, 25 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
