Merge in from Transport Chemical Aerosol Model
editSo, the article Transport Chemical Aerosol Model was nominated for deletion, here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Transport Chemical Aerosol Model (it was short -- about five sentences). My belief is that it certainly would have been deleted if I hadn't happened to look at it (I look at about 10-20 AfD's a year at random). Whether that indicates that AfD is sometimes kind of a random scattershot process I'll leave to the reader, but whatever. So, anyway, the closer decided it should be merged into this article. That's reasonable, and that was the adjudication, and so I have done it.
MOZART (model) is basically similar to Transport Chemical Aerosol Model, and so it should also be merged into this article. I'll tag that article and this for merge, and maybe if there's no objection or discussion merge it in presently.
All the other models in this list basically just have the name and then a pointer to an external link, which is not how we usually roll, and I suppose they all could be similarly expanded to include a paragraph or so, ref'd to that link, I would think. This would make this article long, but not too long. In that case, we could remove some redundancy I think... the first sentence of Transport Chemical Aerosol Model was "The Transport Chemical Aerosol Model (TCAM) is a mathematical modelling method (computer simulation) designed to model certain aspects of the Earth's atmosphere" and I don't suppose we need to say that 40 times. But I'll leave that to experts and the future. Herostratus (talk) 23:27, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
