The link to "Today's Cheonggyecheon" at the bottom of the page is broken. Didn't know if it should be deleted or fixed somehow, so posting to the talk page instead of editing directly.

Fixed. new link. Heroeswithmetaphors (talk) 08:44, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Photos before as a highway/road covered over

edit

Being such a important project, it would be nice to have some photos of what it looked like as a highway, or when it was covers over by roads. the current set of photos don't show the past history.

Seoul Peace Market

edit

Was the Seoul Peace Market located there? I can't find information about the Market being destroyed, but if this area was redeveloped in the early 2000s or so the timing would fit. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:10, 4 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

The sentence :
"The number of vehicles entering downtown Seoul has decreased by 2.3%, with an increasing number of users of buses (by 1.4%) and subways (by 4.3%: a daily average of 430,000 people) as a result of the demolition of the two heavily used roads."
is supposed to be referenced by this :
"Cheonggye Plaza Season Market". english.seoul.go.kr. Sep 18, 2012.
The link given here leads to a page titled "Cheonggyecheon’s “Nostalgic School Uniform Fashion Show”", which does not contain any info re. vehicle traffic of any sort.
The only page in the site http://english.seoul.go.kr that contains the words "Cheonggye Plaza Season Market" is here: Four Locations, Four Colors: Enjoy Seoul’s Nights. Nothing to do with vehicle trafic either.
