Stating the obvious
editI realize my use of British is being overly obvious. But, I think this is a good approach, which is used in typical bios, that can be used with schools. Almost everybody knows "Wales" is British. But South Wales sounds like New South Wales, and I don't think it's as obvious to everybody that there's no other place called "South Wales" in the world. As well, I don't like the idea some countries are considered so famous, we needn't even say which country we're in, but for others, we must always. Finally, I think it's a good idea, and relevant, to link the nation state, and saying "British" is a nice excuse for that. --rob 10:44, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
- Added: I have done this American and Canadian schools, and think it's consistent (I'm not being unfair, as suggested). What I dislike greatly is how *huge* states or provinces within some countries are considered so unimportant the nation state must be mentioned; but for some special places, it's assumed everybody knows the nation-state. Wales has 3 million people. I think it should not be assumed more important than places with many more people. --rob 11:17, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

Exam results
editIt seems incredibly difficult to source reliable and up-to-date exam result figures for the school - so I've removed those that were there, which were unsourced anyway. The school's own website doesn't help - it's seemingly endlessly awaiting updates. Ghmyrtle (talk) 14:38, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
