This article seems to only include criticism of Boudin, when a review of sources I just conducted seems to show that reception of him and his policies has not been exclusively critical. Some relevant sources (with some relevant quotes):
Lowrey, Annie (2022-05-19). "The People vs. Chesa Boudin". The Atlantic. Retrieved 2023-07-08. Since Boudin has been in office, reported rates of violent crime in general have decreased, with the number of rapes and assaults falling well below their pre-pandemic levels.
Barros, Joe Rivano (2023-06-09). "One year after recall, violent crime is up under DA Brooke Jenkins". Mission Local. Retrieved 2023-07-08. Experts cautioned, however, that crime rates cannot be laid at the feet of district attorneys, despite politicians' rhetoric and voters' beliefs.
Lacy, Akela (2022-06-03). "What's Stopping Chesa Boudin?". The Intercept. Retrieved 2023-07-08. Boudin's loudest critics claim that he is to blame for unprecedented levels of crime in San Francisco. But the city's rates of robbery, rape, and larceny theft are below pre-pandemic levels and decreased between 2020 and 2021. The number of reported crimes in San Francisco dropped by 28,000 during Boudin's first two years in office, while arrest and clearance rates also dropped in several categories.
