The Wikipedia bot has concerns about the Chesdale cheese page. However this page is fine. Chesdale cheese is remembered not so much as a food, but as the subject of an iconic song used in an early New Zealand TV ad.
This song became a symbol of 1960s New Zealand, efficient farmers and clever city manufacturers combining to produce high quality foods that were exported as the foundation of the country's wealth. It was the one New Zealand song every New Zealander could sing in the 1970s. |
