I don't know how "notable" it is but, as a chess enthusiast, I can tell you that ChessCafe is highly regarded by the chess community.

I removed the prod tag because I think this site is one of the most well-known chess publishing sites on the internet. It is therefore of comparible notability to a well-known journal. The authors who provide content to chesscafe include the likes of Yasser Seirawan, Susan Polgar, and the well known arbiter Geurt Gijssen (who was arbitrator in the Kramnik-Topalov world championship match last year). With so many big names on the site, and with books based on the site receiving independent reviews, for example here, I think this page is justified.
