edit

Looks like the Beat is DOA for North America.

No longer true. It's coming to North America in 2011 (Europe and Asia in 2010) as the Spark. --Vossanova o< 19:44, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

What is the relation to the Matiz and Kalos?

edit

The Kalos article says it is on its own platform, which means the Matiz is not related to the Kalos...so what from the Kalos and what from the Matiz are in the Beat?68.228.251.204 (talk) 05:07, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

No idea.. unless the next-gen Matiz (if there is one) will share the same platform. Haven't heard anything about that. Pretty sure the Kalos (or Aveo) is unrelated, though. --Vossanova o< 19:46, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Chevrolet Spark disambiguation

edit

The upcoming production version of the Beat is being called the Chevrolet Spark, but there is already a model of the same name currently being sold around the world (China, India, eastern Europe, parts of Latin America) as a rebadged Daewoo Matiz. While we should continue to redirect it for that reason, it makes no sense to redirect the next-gen Spark to Daewoo Matiz, as it's being globally marketed as the Spark, and may or may not be Daewoo-based. So should "Chevrolet Spark" be a disambiguation page, and if so, should the second page be something like "Chevrolet Spark (2010)", or should it still be Chevrolet Beat? --Vossanova o< 19:51, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

New PAge

It is called the chevy spark now so i think we should create a page with something like chevy spark concept (2010) or something MyNameIsKyle (talk) 20:43, 21 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

New Name

edit

The name of the car has been changed to Chevrolet Spark. The article name needs to be changed. I will try and fix it myself as soon as possible because the Chevy Spark redirects to "Daewoo Matiz" and that is incorrect. I will take the redirect off the Spark's page.
