Federal Register

edit

@Yuchitown For clarification, when a tribe is listed on the Federal Register and the name is followed by a comma and a state, that is never part of the official name? It's only part of the official name if it says something like "in X state" or "of Y state"? Bohemian Baltimore (talk) 20:00, 30 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

That's my best understanding. They used to all be listed with states, but it looks like they are partially/gradually disappearing. On the tribes list, I follow what other editors established, which is to list verbatim what the Federal Register has, even in instances where it seems a little off (like odd uses of punctuation, etc.).
