Merge from chiasma

Now that chiasm and chiasma are both disambig pages (unless somebody reverts) with some overlap in content, I think it would simplify things if I merged them. However, I don't want to tread on anyone's toes, so I will wait for comments. --Heron (talk) 15:45, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

I don't think they should be merged - chiasma is a term in genetics referring to a structure that results in meiotic recombination of chromosomes, but the term 'chiasm' is not used in this sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.150.39.169 (talk) 16:49, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Chiasma is also a literary device which refers to the mirrored crossing of two terms within a single poetic phrase, so I do not think the two meanings should be merged. 75.155.7.202 (talk) 22:02, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
