Line Confusion
editThere is some confusion in paragraph 2 of "History 1848 to 1882" that states "The line from Aurora to Chicago was built through the fledgling towns of Naperville,..." This is a different line from the AB. The AB was using Galena & Chicago Union Railroad tracks and equipment until 1864 when it built its own tracks into Chicago. In 1868 the AB built SW down to Burlington IA and on down to Quincy IL. It was then that it changed its name to CB&Q. [1] Dangnad (talk) 02:13, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
