Logo
editIs the Maroons' logo the same one the Cincinnati Reds use? If not, it looks remarkably similar. - Cubs Fan (talk) 04:40, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
History
editI would love to know the history of the "Maroons" mascot - where did the name come from? • Freechild'sup? 15:11, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- The U of C's colors are maroon and white. I assume that's where the name comes from. — DroEsperanto (talk) 03:05, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
The page lists Maroon & White and Maroon & Gray in different areas. Mayhaps it's all three? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Norman Zylstra (talk • contribs) 19:11, 20 March 2022 (UTC)

editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Chicago Maroons. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20121201035608/http://home.uchicago.edu:80/~ahkissel/cheers.html to http://home.uchicago.edu/~ahkissel/cheers.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Infobox problem
editThe infobox problem incorrectly states the school colors as maroon and white, though the ref correctly states they are maroon and grey (with yellow shades complementing). Trouble is, the infobox code doesn't seem to include the colors category, nor the ref. I moved that info up in the article's lede paragraph, and hope someone can figure out the glitch.Jweaver28 (talk) 13:21, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
