Roots
editI thought Chicken George was the name of a descendent of the author of the book "Roots". You know the one that was remade for tv and was seen by over 100 million people?
I'm not sure if it is worth dedicating a section to Chicken George, but maybe the person described in this entry used this name as a reference to the freed slave?
I made a disimbagualtion to explain that. The Republican 21:50, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Let's create a Disambiguation page
editI agree with The Republican; let's create a disambiguation page. ProfessorPaul 00:31, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Previous article moved
editOK, no one panic! ALL of the previous article (minus the disambiguation at the beginning) was relocated to Chicken George (politics). I also expanded the old article, added categories, tested and improved its existing Wiki links, and added a "See also" category. You are welcome. ProfessorPaul 01:17, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

As non-notable. Travb (talk) 04:19, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
in regard to it being 'non-notable' for a Sydney take-away shop being called Chicken George, I feel it is very notable, due to the fact that I my self came to this page looking to see if there was other Chicken Georges. Granted I was expecting to only find out about ones in England, however knowing about the one in Sydney is of high interest to me
