Omission: This article does not mention the first Children's Commissioner, Dr Ian Hassall, term of office presumably 2003-2008 Seanoon24 (talk) 16:43, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The office of Children's Commissioner came into being with the act in 2003. The first Children's Commissioner was Dr Cindy Kiro and subsequently by De John Angus, Dr Russell Wills and on 1 July 2016 Judge Andrew Beecroft (2 year term). Prior to the appointment of Dr Kiro, the Office of Commissioner for Children was held by Dr Ian Hassall, Laurie O’Reilly and Roger McClay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.58.236.21 (talk) 23:40, 26 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
