- There's only one source in the article, and they do not appear to be in the business of selling peppers. What makes you think that they are? Anastrophe (talk) 16:51, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- There were four references and the three I removed were blatantly commercial in nature. Please look at the article history. Senor Cuete (talk) 16:54, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Great! It would have been helpful to have included that with your comment. Standing alone, it appeared to be a non sequitur. Thanks. Anastrophe (talk) 16:59, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
- Actually there were FIVE and four were commercial - my mistake. Senor Cuete (talk) 17:00, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
Reason for removing the "seeds themselves contain no heat" part.
editTo say that the "seeds themselves contain no heat" is at *best* pedantic and at worst very misleading. It may *technically* be true that the seeds do not *contain* capsaicin... but they are covered in it. The seeds are spicy. If you take the veins out of a dried chile de árbol, but leave the seeds in, it's still way spicier than it would be if you removed both the veins and the seeds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.140.111.60 (talk) 23:10, 17 May 2018 (UTC)
