There seems to be an inconsistency as to whether the species is c.stigma or c.stigmata. I could not comment on the correct name, only that it needs to be clarified GSAckerman (talk) 07:40, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Control of Elongate Hemlock Scale

The article contains the statement "It is beneficial against non native species. An introduced Hemlock pest, the elongate hemlock scale (Fiorinia externa Ferris), which has been doing considerable damage to Hemlock trees throughout North America, can be moderately controlled by the presence of C. stigma. " However, the link in the reference appears to be broken. And this report says Two coccinellid beetles, the twice-stabbed ladybird beetle, Chilocorus stigma (Say), and Microweisea misella (LeConte), also attack F. externa in North America, but not frequently enough to control scale populations..
