Is there actually a real link with the Chinese national football team or is this really just the first team to run with no football link as no interest from football clubs could be found? If there is no link with an actual football organisation then this is important and should be mentioned. If it is assumed there is a link which the article presently seems to say, then it should be removed per WP:Speculation. --Falcadore (talk) 07:58, 4 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
I think you are correct - there is no expressed link with the Chinese natinal team but by defintion it is sort of the national car of the country, like all A1GP cars.
