Nonfiction? a novel?
editThe lead calls it a collection of stories, some fictional.
At her biography it is called a novel, which I have tagged as a contradiction because that article also says she wrote only one novel. See Talk:Maxine Hong Kingston, section Novelist?
It won the National Book Award for General Nonfiction (which may be a mis-classification).
Of course it may be a so-called nonfiction novel. --P64 (talk) 22:41, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
