There has been a degree of edit-warring over this content recently, resulting in page protection, but the edit warring has continued. I'm opening a discussion here to decide what, if any, of this content should be included. The only sources provided so far have fallen woefully short of WP:RS (two blogs and a self-published review site) and so unless this is covered in more mainstream sources I am in favour of leaving it out. If consensus is in favour of retaining information about the accusations, it should probably not be given its own section (per WP:CRITS). Yunshui雲水15:05, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

In what way do these edits violate a policy? They’re about a significant event in the subject’s career, sourced to a reputable source (The New Yorker). Heebiggreen86 (talk) 20:32, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
The New Yorker doesn't mention a controversy, it leads off with the question of "Several readers have noticed the parallels between your story and Alice Munro’s story “Corrie,” which was published in the magazine, in 2010. You’ve mentioned that “Benji” was modeled on “Corrie”; can you talk about what you hoped that modeling would do?"". Not a good use of the source. ---Lilach5 (לילך5) discuss08:00, 13 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
