editThe following text was removed: "Her influence was demonstrated when sales of Shaoxing wine and demand for authentic Chinese ingredients increased in Britain after she had incorporated it into her recipes on the television series.[14]" The cited external page did not say that sales of shaoxing wine sales increased due to this tv cook's influence. The external page only said "New ingredients include Miso Paste, Organic Coconut Milk and Shaoxing rice wine – cited by Ching-He Huang on BBC 2’s Chinese Food Made Easy."
A lot of the edits for this page look like promotion.
Name
editThis article used to have language like "Huang did this. Ching did that." I changed this because it's confusing. She has developed "Ching" as a personal brand so her website and other promotional sources likely use mostly Ching, but we should not use such informal language, so I've changed most of those to Huang, her family name. I don't expect this to be controversial or merit further discussion, but I thought I'd explain for the sake of clarity and to promote consistency in future edits. - Metal lunchbox (talk) 18:07, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
