General Comments
editThis article covers a variety of topics about C. scita. I added some links to other Wikipedia articles but I think more links should be added to cover the full article. Overall, the article prose is well-written, neutral, and is well-cited. While many topics are covered, some more behavioral aspects could be included, with headings added for Mutualism or Interactions with Humans. In additional, some information regarding Diet and Developmental Stages (within Life History) would be useful to include. I also added some pictures from Wikimedia commons that go along with the body of the article - if anyone has any photos of the fly itself, their addition to the page would be much appreciated! Hello! I think this article was very good because it provided a lot of good detailed sections. I edited the section titles to have sentence capitalization, and also added some more Wikipedia links in the article. The fly was referred to by its full genus and species name in a few parts, so I changed those to their abbreviations. The writing is good, but wording such as “they are fairly unique” are subjective, so I edited the article to be a little more neutral. I was confused about the sentence "Adult C. scita are wingless, meaning that they also lack the bulky muscle structures needed to them.", so I think that should be clarified. Note that information in the Physical description and Mating sections overlaps a little. Overall though, I think the article provides a solid introduction to the fly!
