I added some material to try to explain what the chirped mirror is and how it works in more everyday laymans language. It may still need some refinement. The application section seems to be referring to a specific paper. Chirped mirrors can operate in a large range of wavelengths. In my lab, we are currently using chirped mirrors that operate near 1000nm. You can also look at manufacturer pages like this: https://www.edmundoptics.com/c/ultrafast-pulse-compression-mirrors/1225/# to see for yourself. This whole page is really lacking in citations.
