Chiswick Works
editHi,
as a bus buff I missed a note about London Transport's famous Chiswick Works opened in 1921 where buses were repaired, overhauled, repainted and in the beginning even constructed. Moreover buses underwent tilt tests and drivers where instructed on skid pans.
Could anyone add a few lines, please. I would be very grateful as I think that it's a part of London's absorbing transport history.
Thank you very much
