Eponymous article, self promotion, unreferenced conjecture, unimportant subject. Speedy deletion —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.143.220.38 (talk) 11:21, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

How does this article meet criteria for speedy deletion at all? Chloe Alper is the lead singer in a very important and innovative British rock group. The information on this page is both relevant and interesting. It also contains many references so it should not be removed.

She seems to be a non-notable singer in a minor music group. The content is full of point of view, fanciful language and, in addition to multiple unsourced comments, is lacking proper third party verification. Essentially, looking at the statements, details and language it reads as if it has been written by Chloe Alper herself. Simillar to the Jim Dobson and Pure Reason Revolution articles. Hey we are listening to her in India right now as we speak. Lot of my friends know about it. Would recommend keeping the article. Engti (talk) 10:15, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

76.173.244.75 (talk)hey listen up Jza84 you self-important wanker. just because you've never heard of something doesn't mean other people haven't either. your own ignorance is not the benchmark for what should be included in wikipedia. if you've never heard of her then you shouldn't be working on the article. go and work on something you have at least some knowledge of.

A point of contact regarding this article:

In this capacity, I'm challenging all unsourced material in this article per the above three core Wikipedia value policies to be either sourced, or removed. I do intend to remove unsourced content within the next few days; the period until that time to be used by contributors here to look at improving the content by then, ensuring that as much as possible is attributable and neutral. -- Jza84 · (talk) 02:15, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Period Pains need their own entry. Full page article in the Daily Mail stating 'Would you let your daughter join a punk band with this shocking image?' Period Pains generated copious amounts of press and radio play, charted a single in the indie charts, notably attacked the biggest selling music group of the 90's, the Spice Girls, opened Reading Festival in 1997 and were one of the youngest ever fully functioning bands who also wrote their own songs. Also part of the wider Riot Grrrl and Teen Punk movements. They are highly notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.213.252.249 (talk) 23:32, 3 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request to add to The Pure Reason Revolution section of the 'Biography'.

Pure Reason Revolution released their third album, Hammer and Anvil in 2011. Rock Sound reported that "the band have retained most of their heavy hooks to create a great crossover record. A track like 'Last Man Last Round' will fit into many Pendulum fans' heads, whereas their progressive elements are still prevalent in 'Open Insurrection'". [Source: Rock Sound issue 141]

Please give more information re this publication "rock sound" - how can I find it to verify it? What is the name of the publisher, where is it available? Is there an ISSN or something?
Also, the quotation you said seems excessive.
If you can show a reliable source to add the release information, please re-request.  Chzz  ►  00:51, 14 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
