There is a contradiction on this page, an acid with a pK of 1.96 cannot be called "weak acid". Can someone try to find a literature reference? phom 2007-1-18

I feel either the picture on the right margin or the lewis structure should be rotated so that the two coincide. In the present display the right lewis diagram has the OH group while in the picture of the molecule, the corresponding group is oriented on the left
Hypofluorous acid
editFluorine is oxidized to +1 in hypoflurous acid? Oxygen is oxidized. Water + F2 gives OF2 + HF, which then hydrolyzes in the presence of excess water. Oxygen + fluorine is going to give OF2 also. It would appear that oxygen is oxidized.JSR (talk) 21:13, 25 September 2012 (UTC)
