Hi, as this article falls under Wikiproject Medicine there are some guidelines that need to be applied. WP:MEDRS & WP:MEDMOS give some idea into what is needed. Sources are preferably secondary, that is to say, not research papers but rather reviews, professional text-books and position statements from major organizations. Also it is preferable to use sources published within the last 5 years. Consider adding a pubmed ID so that they can be found quickly, not just the doi. A pubmed search will yield many good results [1], and if you do not have access through your university feel free to pop me a mail (use the form) with a pubmed-link to the review and I will help out as best I can. Project Summary

The general definition of Spooning or better scientifically known as Chorea has already been provided in the stub article but I plan to elaborate on the disease to give readers a more universal understanding. A good way to begin understanding the disease is to know it's symptoms. After reviewing a variety of sources that covered Chorea they seemed to conclude that most cases of Chorea vary in severity and along with the symptoms depending on the patient. While Editing this article I will also keep in mind that this subject is concerning medicine so I will make sure I am using credible sources. I plan on reviewing different cases of Chorea and addressing the heritability of the disease as well. I would also like for the last part of my article to cover the types of treatment or different ways people have managed while being diagnosed with Chorea. Chorea is not a very well known disease so the goal of this article will simply be to inform and provide helpful resources for people that may want to learn even more about Chorea. • Good luck, but it seems that you are in the wrong page. Or you don't know what you are talking about. Spooning is not "scientifically known as Chorea", from what I saw. As a rule of thumb, before writing wikipedia, you have to read wikipedia. You will be surprized. Both by the amounts of wisdom and of nonsense :-) So, are you aware of wikilinks and their usage? If yes please start with clicking here: Chorea. From the first rule follows the second: if you are serious in your effort to contribute to wikipedia and not just to do some "pass/fail" school project, you almost always end in writing and editing numerous wikipedia articles, which almost always suck, because, like this one, vast majority of them are written by ignorants like me. (With notable exceptions of pokemon, pornstars and politics - a running joke in wikipedia.) I was always amused that of 4,000 article I created about 80% stay basically untouched for years, just like this one. - Altenmann >t 08:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

Re Project Summary

This as the primary topic for "spooning"?

This is not the most commonly used definition of spooning - I think that "spooning" should direct users to the disambiguation page, and the title of this page be something like "Spooning (medical sign)" for clarification. I'd rather that someone typing "spooning" into the search box go straight to the disambig page. My feeling is opposite from yours - that a person looking up "spooning" online would likely have heard it in reference to cuddling between two people (usually non sexual). At least that is the common usage in the United States. Linking straight to the disambiguation page would be the fair option, so that neither definition is favored. --Gccwang (talk) 07:10, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
