NPOV
editThis is a propaganda piece. It has been tagged with NPOV problems before, but clearly this still needs to be addressed. --98.232.207.138 (talk) 10:24, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
This article is so biased, it is offensive. Not everyone thinks missionary organizations are the greatest things since sliced bread. Can we get some kind of balance?
"It is an evangelistic organization of Messianic Judaism that exists to reach out to the Jewish people everywhere with the good news of Yeshua the Messiah, to care for, disciple, and plant new Messianic communities of believers in Yeshua, and to be an advocate for the Jewish people." Give me a break! 96.225.28.193 (talk) 15:34, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- They don't just believe Jesus is the Messiah. They believe he is God.— 67.85.254.111 (talk) 21:16, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
This page is pulled directly from the organizations website - the Our history page. It is not neutral at all - they are using wikipedia as an advertisement for themselves. Truebluetoo (talk) 14:25, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
I do not see anything "biased" about this. Wikipedia is not supposed to be a popularity contest. You don't have to like the info or agree with it. In order to tell about this organization, you obviously have to state what they believe. Also, it is illogical to assume that because the information came from this groups website that it is not neutral. If I had a page about myself, and I wrote that I have 7 kids, that is the truth. The fact that *I* said it doesn't make it biased or nontruthful. This is the same situation. Just because you don't like the organization doesn't mean they are biased. It means you are. The information that they give in this article about their belief that Jesus is God is absolutely pertinent information that should be included since it is central to the organizations purpose. People need to learn to quit letting their bias get in the way of logic. BTW, I know nothing about this organization other than what I've just read on their website and wikipedia. I'm in no way associated with this organization and I am not recommending or promoting them. This correction should not be taken as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by P31 Mom (talk • contribs) 14:57, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
There have been 3 issues raised regarding the Neutrality of the article. 1) A sentence about the stated of objective of the organization. 2) This organization is acknowledging Jesus as the Messiah. 3) Information in this article is pulled from the official website of the organization. The first objection is no longer valid because the organization's objective has been removed no longer reads what it apparently said at one time; when I read the article it only said "It is an evangelistic organization of Messianic Judaism." The second objective is a non-issue because an extreme minority of Christians do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as God, and the majority of Messianic Jews regard Yeshua the Messiah as divine (although a significant amount do not adhere to the Trinity). Thus, to say that Jesus is the Messiah is to imply that Jesus is Divine according to the overwhelming majority of believers in Jesus. This would only be an exceptional and notable topic to even discuss if the organization believed in his Messiah-ship but not his divinity. The third issue is only valid if it can be demonstrated that information from the official website (which is one of the sources cited) was unbiased. No statements have been provided from this article taken from their website that demonstrated unbiased reporting. Furthermore, to disagree with the views of an arbitrary Hindi organization's statements of faith and objectives and then label them as biased is a great disservice to Wikipedia. Examples of biased reporting must be brought forward in order to continue that conversation and as of now I see none; I am therefore removing this NPOV warning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zulatry (talk • contribs) 19:43, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
This article seems very biased towards this organization. Where do we get balance?

- I believe I have handled this by applying a {{Non-free logo|regtrademark=yes}} tag to the file. Zad68 (talk) 19:24, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
Sourcing
editThe sourcing on this is a mess. There is are only two third-party sources (which is why I tagged this for notability as well as sourcing), and many of the sources both third-party and otherwise are dead links. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 22:32, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- I will note that there is much more on the history of the group over at Leopold Cohn (Christian clergyman), some of which should be integrated here. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 14:54, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
