The article Chouteau, Oklahoma said that its founders were half-brothers, but this article says they were brothers. Based on the half-brothers statement I changed the other article to link to the father of the brothers mentioned in this article. Something needs fixing. (SEWilco06:31, 3 May 2007 (UTC))Reply

Right now Pierre Chouteau redirects to Jean Pierre Chouteau. This is problematic because Jean Pierre had a son named Pierre who was significant in his own right. Right now Pierre's (red) link says Pierre Chouteau, Jr. but that is inexact because his name was not identical to his father's (as far as I know). Can someone undo the redirect of Pierre Chouteau to Jean Pierre Chouteau, so that the Pierre page can be for the son? 68.40.65.16403:21, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Once an article is created it creates some mischief to get rid of it. I redirected it back to Chouteau. Once the other biography is written we can sort it out (probably by throwing it into its own disambig page) Americasroof11:48, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
