"examples" section
editSince someone decided that Program Chrestomathy wasn't notable, and redirected it here, illustration of program chrestomathies was lost. I'd suggest adding Rosetta Code to that list, as well as a link to the list of chrestomathies hosted there. Unfortunately, Rosetta Code is my site, so that doesn't exactly make me look like a neutral party. What's the process for this? --Michael Mol (talk) 18:21, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
This is not just a question of neutrality. Indeed, "Program Chrestomathy" is your invention. And, linking here from Rosetta Code and then using Rosetta Code as a citation in chrestomathy makes for a circular definition. If you want to use chrestomathy as a term on your website, why not? But, legitimizing that by changing Wikipedia is dirty pool. Advertise your web site elsewhere.Kckid (talk) 04:32, 19 October 2014 (UTC)
Trojan Cycle
editArticles about the Epic Cycle/Trojan Cycle refer to a "Chretomathy" of "Proclus" and link here. But this article has no information about this particular "Chrestomathy". Either this article needs to be fixed or those ones do. If this is really a famous Chrestomathy, then perhaps it could be listed in the examples, and those other articles could also be fixed individually. Comiscuous (talk) 22:54, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
