Chris Goss (U.S.) → Chris Goss — The disambiguation page at Chris Goss is unecessary. DeLarge 18:51, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Survey - in support of the move
edit- Support In response to DeLarge 19:01, 25 March 2007, a google search for '"chris goss" -masters -kyuss -"queens of the stone age"' yields 25.5k hits; from the first page of the search results, only two of links are about Chris Goss (UK). I've redirected all the wikilinks to Chris Goss (apart from this page and requested moves) to the respective US/UK pages. Excluding User, Talk, Redirect and move-related pages, Chris Goss (U.S.) has 41 inbound wikilinks, to Chris Goss (UK)'s 2. This an overwhelming evidence in support of the move.Skomorokh 20:47, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Survey - in opposition to the move
edit- Oppose - If the American Masters of Reality guy was overwhelmingly the most common use I might go for it. But while "Chris Goss" gets 70k Ghits, "Ghris Goss" -Masters, "Ghris Goss" -Reality, "Ghris Goss" -America, and virtually every other variant I could come up with, don't sufficiently reduce the number of hits. "Chris Goss" -"Masters of Reality" gets 52k, which suggests at least 18k (25%) are definitely about the U.S. musician. Not enough for him to monopolize the dab page in my opinion. --DeLarge 19:01, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Chris goss mastersofreality.jpg
editImage:Chris goss mastersofreality.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
