General Humdrum
editReads like a resume. I assume that it's not the editors fault, that he's just had such a humdrum career that nothing he's done, either good or bad, has ever lead a journalist to give him any serious scrutiny? So the only mentions he gets are one liners about getting a new position here or there. Oh, well. I was hoping to fit this in somewhere, but I don't see how. I'll just leave it here in case he decides to make a career out of making a fool of himself in the press.
'John “Chris” Inglis, former NSA deputy director, said companies who participated in the agency’s data collection activities deserved the nation’s thanks and respect.
“All the companies that were maligned were simply following the rule of law,” he said. “We need to give them some credit for doing the right thing.”'
Article then goes on to explain how getting some of these companies to 'do the right thing' required the NSA to get our secret legal system, FISC, to threaten them with economic ruin. 66.27.174.138 (talk) 11:56, 18 September 2014 (UTC)
