The result of the move request was: Moved to Chris Sullivan (soccer, born 1988) per discussion. Have also moved Christopher Sullivan to Christopher Sullivan (soccer, born 1965) for disambiguation with this title per the discussion below. (non-admin closure) Turnagra (talk) 06:59, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
Chris Sullivan (Australian association footballer) → Chris Sullivan (soccer) – per WP:NCSP Joeykai (talk) 12:05, 9 April 2022 (UTC) — Relisting. 晚安 (トークページ) 15:38, 15 May 2022 (UTC)

- Comment - by the way Christopher Sullivan (soccer) and Chris Sullivan (Australian rules footballer) also exist. Paintspot Infez (talk) 04:42, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- Agree re those two pages also exist so I am considering supporting a move to Chris Sullivan (Australian soccer player) or similar to avoid confusion with Christopher Sullivan (soccer). Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 15:51, 11 April 2022 (UTC)
- Move to Chris Sullivan (Australian soccer) and Chris Sullivan (American soccer), as that would appear to be his common name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:53, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Actually, especially given both have played abroad, I'm going to revise my suggestion to Chris Sullivan (soccer, born 1988) and Chris Sullivan (soccer, born 1965), per our usual style of using YOB to disambiguate footballers. -- Necrothesp (talk) 22:32, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support Necrothesp's proposal per common name. RedPatch (talk) 14:13, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Agree re common name so I am now supporting the Australian one (i.e. this Chris Sullivan) to soccer, born 1988, the sports broadcaster one to "Chris Sullivan (soccer, born 1965)", which is what sources name him, and the Australian rules one stays as it is. So I am now disagreeing with my response two days ago in line with the above. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 22:50, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose. Chris Sullivan is not a soccer. —SmokeyJoe (talk) 12:50, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- FYI, for players of some sports, we use "(SPORT-NAME)" as a disambiguator instead of "(SPORT-NAME player)". See, for example, the number of pages with the disambiguator "(basketball)", "(American football)", "(soccer)", "(rugby union)", etc. Paintspot Infez (talk) 21:19, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
