How do you pronounce "Thile"

edit

Is it like "Tile" with a Th at the beginning? Is it like "Thee-lee"

or what is it? Ezradf 16:56, 18 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

It's "Thee-lee".

Is there proof of this? I've been to a number of Nickel Creek's concerts but can't remember how he pronounced it. I have a feeling I would have remembered such an odd pronounciation as 'Thee-lee.'Vaguely 12:48, 19 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Does anyone have any more info on Chris Thile's divorce? I didn't even know he had gotten married.

--- He doesn't talk about his marriage in interviews, so few people would know much about it. I know that his wife can be seen in the video for The Smoothie Song. She's the girl seen strumming an electric guitar at the beginning.

I specifically remember the pronunciation being Thee-Lee, click here to see a video of Chris Thile, they say his name so you can hear how they pronounce it. Piratebob13 21:53, 14 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't put the How To Grow a Band as a seperate article, just have it as a section in the same article, besides, the How To Grow a Band is changing it's name to The Tensions Mountain Boys Piratebob13 20:01, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

By the way, the tensions mountain boys (formerly the how to grow a band) have changed their name once again. They are now the "Punch Brothers". Piratebob13 22:50, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Stealingsecond.jpg

Image:Stealingsecond.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
