Chris Williams is well known for writing the Richard Burton diaries at Swansea University in Wales. In his early life he didn't really show that much interest in history but was a bright boy. Eventually in secondary school he got into history after he had collected a vast amount of model soldiers from The British Civil War and The Battle of Waterloo.
He is now working in University College Cork, as the Head of College in Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences.
