Christian Gonzalez → Christian Gonzalez (American football) – No PRIMARYTOPIC for the name, DAB should be at base name. Christian González (footballer) and Christian González exist, and I don't think SMALLDIFFERENCES applies since the differences in spelling aren't enough to disambiguate. There's also a DAB at Cristian González. Ortizesp (talk) 04:28, 24 November 2022 (UTC)— Relisting. —usernamekiran (talk) 17:00, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
- Comment Christian González is currently a redirect to Cristian Gonzáles. Is there any evidence that he is known by that name? 162 etc. (talk) 06:09, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- Support In ictu oculi (talk) 10:43, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and In ictu oculi. No indication that the stub delineating American football's Christian Gonzalez represents a player of greater notability than the player delineated by the stub Christian González (footballer). The base name "Christian Gonzalez" should redirect to the Cristian González disambiguation page which would also list Chris Gonzalez and, under "See also", Cristian Gonzales. As for SMALLDIFFERENCES regarding disambiguation solely via accents or diacritics (Christian Gonzalez versus Christian González), the currently active Talk:Tamás (name)#Requested move 22 November 2022 proposes the existence of standalone main title headers Tamas and Tamás. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 06:17, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per page views, WP:NATURALDISAMBIGUATION and per WP:SMALLDETAILS. I don't agree that SMALLDIFERENCES cannot apply here. It absolutely can and does. The American footballer is spelled Christian, while the professional footballer from Uruguay is spelled Cristian, without the h. The h does, IMHO, qualify as a SMALLDETAIL. Any confusion between the two spellings can be resolved using a hatnote. Now when it comes to the American footballer and the Chilean former professional footballer spelled Christian, I don't support moving either. Page views show that readers are wanting to reach the American footballer. cookie monster 755 18:43, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per CookieMonster. Page views favor this page. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 20:55, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose per page views. Most of the contenders are "Cristian", which is a sufficiently different name not to be an issue. And the American footballer leads the footballer Christian by a largish margin.[1] — Amakuru (talk) 23:12, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
Addition of names
editRecent editors have added "Creamer" and "Alexander" as names but there appears to be no real source for either. Could anybody help find one? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 08:10, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- One has been added for "Luis". Cheers, atque supra! Fakescientist8000 03:07, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, but where exactly does it state "Luis" in the source? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 10:54, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
Writing about his TD against the Dolphins
editHey all,
I added his scoop and score TD against the Dolphins on November 24th. I was curious on how to format this because it is his first notable play from 2024. Also the sentence could probably use some help with wording.
