- Hi Philafrenzy, I'll take a look at this one. Before I start though, I couldn't see a mention in the article that he was the party's largest donor in 2019? - Dumelow (talk) 08:11, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks, I have edited it slightly. PoliticsHome say £3m from July to Sept 2019. The BBC say that his £3m donations "amounts to more than 90% of the Brexit Party's total funding" and Private Eye have since reported an additional £2m in November 2019. I think it is reasonable to say largest since he was at 90% before when he had given £3m but that phrase is not used in the source so I am open to alternative hooks. - Perhaps it's safer just to say "... that aviation businessman Christopher Harborne donated £5 million to Britain's Brexit Party in 2019?"? - Dumelow (talk) 12:05, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I have added your suggestion as an Alt. Philafrenzy (talk) 20:11, 16 December 2019 (UTC)
- Article is new enough, long enough and well written; I found no overly close paraphrasing from the sources; reliable sources are cited inline throughout; nomination is awaiting a QPQ and we'll need a second opinion as ALT1 was proposed by me - Dumelow (talk) 09:00, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1 second opinion... ALT1 is good to go; interesting, short and cited in the article. Still awaiting QPQ. ~riley (talk) 21:31, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
- QPQ done thanks. Philafrenzy (talk) 20:52, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
