I'm somewhat dubious of the stated reactions for CrCl₂. The equation for the production of hydrogen (below) must be wrong, as CrCl₂ simple dissolves in water. Anyone got any sources for any of this?

3 CrCl₂ + H₂O → 2 CrCl₃ + CrO + H₂
