This page has an improper name, it should be merged into Chromium(IV) oxide (chromium dioxide IS chromium(IV) oxide, not chromium(II) oxide)!! --Dirk Beetstra T C 23:06, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Formation
editAccording to the article on copper chromite chromate ions may be reduced to CrO by ammonium ions when (NH4)2Cu(CrO4)2 is heated. This, however, seems somewhat unlikely given the sensitive nature of CrO and should not be believed without confirmation. 150.227.15.253 (talk) 13:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
