Proper or common noun?
editI did a trademark search and found a word mark for "machinery, namely apparatus for forming a continuous tube and enclosing a quantity of a product in successive sessions severed therefrom" registered to Packaging Technologies, Inc., of Davenport, Iowa (serial #76561353, registration #3104384). From that can we infer that Chub is a proper name, or is that just limited to PTI's machinery? Is Chub used as a generic trademark like Kleenex, where similar packages made with different machinery are still called chub? Ibadibam (talk) 18:26, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
