"to me... to you" as well as "oh dear oh dear!" should be mentioned.

as well as the fact that the actor who plays barry chuckle arranged to meet with a fans mother for sexual intercourse. citation:

"Three early 1990s episodes of the programme were written by Russell T. Davies, who went on to become an award-winning and highly-acclaimed writer of television dramas such as Queer as Folk and the revival series of Doctor Who."

Amusingly, that same piece of trivia was read out by the presenter on the CBBC Channel today, before an episode...and the wording, probably minus the Queer as Folk comment, was virtually exactly the same! BillyH 08:18, 1 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Does this mean I can put "Has written for BBC television" on my CV now? ;-) Angmering 19:22, 4 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
  • I suspect the modification to the paragraph for Sir Carrington Smythe, i.e. 'He is head of MI7.' is vandalism. Can anyone confirm? Rob 08:21, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
I suspect half the article is vandalism. It needs a major cleanup fast. BillyH 13:16, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Which parts do you suggest are vandalism? Most of it seems to ring true to me. I can confirm Sir Carrington Smyth is playing the part of Head of MI7 in some episodes. In others he works for MI2, as well. The post in front was made by Popexvi 07:56, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Chuckling All Over The World, the movie, Shagging Groupies...etc. Possibly all the 'unseen characters' except Dan the Van and Granny Chuckle. BillyH 11:50, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, I've checked out the status quo remix, and shagging groupies and can't find anything on them. Don't know about the movie - but it isn't mentioned in IMDB which is generally exhaustively comprehensive of such things. And having spent many a weekday morning watching double-bills of ChuckleVision (albeit they were mostly the newer ones), I have never heard a mention of those three unseen characters. Shall we delete them? The post in front was made by Popexvi 20:20, 15 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

We need some stuff about Dan the Van/Dan DeVan (who was seen wrapped in bandadges in an episode where the brothers accidentally kidnap him from hospital. Ps Ruth England of daytime TV was in an episode today where Paul trys to start a pot making business 7Legs 17/11/06

High brow!?!

Original Channel?

edit

It says on that box thing with the picture and some info on the right hand side of the page that the original channel was CBBC, thats wrong, the original channel was BBC One, you are confusing the channel name it was broadcast on with the 2 hours of children's tv it was shown on, it was shown suring cbbc, but broadcast from bbc one, therefore the original channel is BBC One, not cbbc —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.147.193.170 (talk) 19:15, 12 May 2007 (UTC).Reply

Article requires citations and footnotes

edit

Hello. As you know, all article require references, so unless you have a good reason, could you please leave the banner at the top of the page in the article. Thank you. Econtrib (talk) 12:46, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Everything in the article is cited, as far as I can tell. The fact that he is their real brother is sourced here, the 4 DVD releases are cleary verifiable; and so on and so forth. Please discuss here before undoing the edit as per WP:BRD. Thanks. ╟─TreasuryTagCaptain-Regent─╢ 12:50, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello again. Thanks for pointing that out. I have noticed though that the articles such as The Patton Brothers, have absolutely no references. I won't delete anything from them, but will try and look for references. Also, I think that the Chucklevision article should contain references to the other articles, such as The Patton Brothers. I'll insert these references into the article in the coming days. If you have any comments or don't wan't me to put references in, please tell me. Thank you. Theme music composer

edit

Was the theme tune to ChuckleVision really written by a senior Canadian cabinet minister? Or is the link to Dave Cook pointing to the wrong place? Lucas42 02:33, 7 February 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lucas42 (talkcontribs)

As much as I love the Chucklevision this article is getting out of control; it has huge chunks unnecessary trivia and almost all of it without sources. It only has one reference and that's one I've recently put in!

With many references to episodes it's more like a fan page than a encyclopedia article.

In my opinion this article needs to be totally re-written, cutting out trivia and added only useful facts that are properly cited.

Agreed, this happens with a lot of 'cult' subjects on Wikipedia - over-enthusiastic editors adding tons of trivia and overloading the page a bit. (I was guilty of it when I was about fifteen) Also, is this show even still going? No new episodes since 2009. BillyH 14:08, 12 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have just done this and removed a lot of unnecessary and uncited information. Let's hope it doesn't get reverted! Zoyetutalk) 22:18, 8 October 2015.
