The Latin Mass
editSentences like "The mysteries of the Transubstantiation are never revealed to the congregation," or "The Priest had his back to the congregation throughout most of the service and the mysteries of the mass were concealed from the congregation." used to describe the Latin Mass represent a polemical point of view not held by Holy Name, or the Church for that matter, and comprimise the neutrality of this article.
Given their combative nature, it would be better to post such things in a article detailing opposition to the Latin Mass than here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.151.141.34 (talk • contribs) 2007-06-17
They are just facts. If you want to be pedantic, I can find very harsher descriptions of mass. My two sentences are observations. Many catholics feel that the latin mass is abhorrant and I strictly NPOV says I shoud have mentioned those too.
I attend that mass every week, and am very aware of critism. We should balance the latin mass paragraph or delete it completely. Sentences like "The mysteries of the Transubstantiation are never revealed to the congregation," are a matter of fact and date back to canon law. Mike33 21:33, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
