I came to this article hoping for more information about the origins and planning of the Churchill Theatre, e.g. the fact that it replaced Bromley's previous theatre, the New Theatre, which was destroyed by fire in 1971. It could also be made clearer that the council took the opportunity to replace the old public library at the same time, by building a joint library/theatre complex.
