why does this town have a picture of executions that took place in the town rather then the map normally in place on such geographic city pages? are we to assume that everyone knows exactly where it is just because some jews and poles died there? cuz I bet most ppl dont give a sh*t whether some people died there, as people die everywhere, instead people want to know where it is first, provide a map. as well there are many horrid gramtical errorsJadger 01:45, 8 December 2005 (UTC)Jadger

Jadger, please cool down a bit. If you need a map of this place - go on and create it, I prepared a decent contour map and you'd only have to place a dot. As to the picture - it's there because the war crimes is why this place is famous and it illustrates the thing quite well. As to what people give a sh*t for, as you put it - we should not care. This is an encyclopedia, not a people give a sh*t for-pedia. Most people do not care whether the Earth is round or flat either. Does it mean that we should reword the article on Earth to mention the two most important facts: that on Earth you can have a decent beer and that it's a nice place to have sex - as these are the two most important things for much of the population? The massacre

The (at that time: West) German court for Nazi crimes dismissed the case (members of the German 15th Infantry Regiment (mot) had shot POWs) in 1971, explaining the dead Polish soldiers as KIA. In spite of any evidence, just some hear-say had been brought forward by prosecution.

The Photograph

Two male persons in Wehrmacht uniforms (one of them carrying a rifle the other one unarmed) are seen walking around or looking at a trench with some seemingly dead people in there. Who made the photograph? At what location at what time was this photograph taken? Who are the persons in the trench? Are they really dead? Are they Polish soldiers? Have they been murdered as POWs? Are the 2 persons wearing a Wehrmacht uniform members of the 29th Infanterie-Division or members of the Wehrmacht, anyway? Who can ensure, this photograph is not staged? Was the photograph taken even near to Ciepielów? What does this photograph prove? For what reason stands this photograph as a picture of a city/town/village? For what purpose is this photograph published on Wiki in this context? Maybe, the persons in the trench are just drunken German soldiers, “recovering” from battle-stress.

• First click on the photo to see it's description then click on the link to the website run by the Polish ministry of foreign affairs. These men (one of them has expensive military style boots and ordinary military style clothes) don't have weapons, belts or caps or helmets, they are definetly not "recovering". Jadger's crusaide

There isn't a problem of POV or sources, but rather one of Mr Jadger's revisonistic crusaide. The basis of the crusaide is his unability to read German, so he isn't able to read German Wikipedia de:Massaker von Ciepielów or other sources about WWII. Xx236 09:22, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
