Mainstream stars include Mylene Dizon, Eugene Domingo, Tessie Tomas, TJ Trinidad, Ryan Eigenmann, Baron Geisler, Coco Martin, Ces Quesada, and Meryll Soriano. 2 of the 10 chosen finalists would not be taking part: Emman dela Cruz's entry “1434456” and “Antiparang Basag” to be replaced by “Namets” and “Boses.” The other Cinemalaya entries are: “100 by Chris Martinez, Baby Angelo by Joel Ruiz and Abi Aquino, Brutus by Tara Illenberger, Concerto by Paul Morales, Huling Pasada by Paul Sta.
