JI as terrorist outfit
editI feel reasonably confortable calling JI a terorist group, but the Jemaah Islamiyah page itself is fairly weak in terms of citations. I've heard and read that JI might have been behind the atrocious Bali bombing(s), but I've never read anything convincing (the North American newspapers just print whatever the US State Dept. says). Again, I'm not really doubting the JI is 'terrorist' per se, but I'm concerned that WP hasn't done much to establish this. Then we, at Cipinang prison, reify the shoddy allegation. Anyway, it's out of my area. If User:Merbabu and others can comment, I'd be glad. --Dylanfly 14:04, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Search for homepage of prison turned up empty
editI searched the Indonesian government's web pages in vain for the home page to Cipinang. It wouldn't surprise me if the prison has no web page, but I thought I'd try to add it. There's an inherent bias in discussions of prisons, in that the people most interested in writing about them are the human rights groups. So if there's anything out there to balance the equation, let's get it up. --Dylanfly 15:33, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
