The result of the move request was: MOVED. Please review the article for proper typography. I tried, but this is not my area of expertise. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 14:14, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
Cis-p-coumarate glucosyltransferase → Cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase – WP:CHEMNAME#Prefixes in titles. (The correct typography of the title is cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase, which can be effected by DISPLAYTITLE once the article is moved.) 31.52.113.156 (talk) 02:04, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:43, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Do not move because the current title is correct (see for good references [1] and [2]). "Cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase" is technically wrong (see the inappropriate cap "-Coumarate"). Chhandama (talk) 03:39, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Does WP:CHEMNAME not apply to enzymes then? 31.52.113.156 (talk) 17:28, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- Now I see your point. I was thinking cis from a biochemical point of view (cisplatin, cis-regulatory protein, trans face). Yes, WP:CHEMNAME definitely applies here. In fact, the correct page title should be "cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase". But I still object to your proposal "Cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase", because cis as a Greek prefix is not capitalised in standard chemical nomenclature, as are para- (para-Methoxyamphetamine) and ortho- (ortho-Nitrophenyl-β-galactoside.Chhandama (talk) 04:50, 13 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Chhandama: – see WP:NCLOWERCASEFIRST and {{DISPLAYTITLE}}, which is used in para-Methoxyamphetamine. No such user (talk) 12:12, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks No such user. I now see the technical problem. I concede that I was wrong. So Cis-p-Coumarate glucosyltransferase it is. Chhandama (talk) 11:19, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
