- A social dividend is financed through the public ownership of value-producing enterprises in the economy; it is specific to a socialist or market socialist economic system. A citizen's dividend and demogrant are not necessarily financed on public ownership of the means of production, but variously on taxes or public ownership of natural resources (not the same thing as industry/means of production). -Battlecry 09:45, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Alaska inequality
editIt seems unlikely that the low inequality in Alaska is due to the small amount distributed by the fund. A large degree of inequality is created by tech and media industries which are not dominant in Alaska, and generally larger markets in other states. More sources are needed for context and certainly if a causal claim is made by the article. -- Beland (talk) 13:21, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
