Infobox and Operations request
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello! I'd like to propose updates to key stats in the article infobox and Operations section, which I am requesting on behalf of Citrix as part of my work at Beutler Ink.
Infobox and introduction
For the infobox, I suggest updating operating income, net income, total assets, total equity, and number of employees with more recent figures from 2019. I also suggest deleting the outdated revenue and number of employees figures from the introduction. This would leave one less area that needs regular updates.
- Operating income: US$536.1 million (2019)[1]
- Net income: US$681.8 million (2019)[2]
- Assets: US$ 4.38 billion (2019)[2]
- Equity: US$837.6 million (2019)[2]
- Number of employees: 8,400 (2019)[3]
Operations
- The last paragraph of Operations contains old stats for Fortune and Forbes rankings, and revenue:
Citrix is publicly traded under the ticker symbol CTXS. In 2014, the company ranked 741 on the Fortune 1000 and 1,793 on Forbes Global 2000. Citrix's revenue in 2015 equaled US$3.28 billion, an increase from $3.14 billion in 2014 and $2.91 billion in 2013.
I suggest updating the last paragraph with 2019 Fortune 1000 and Forbes Global 2000 rankings, and recognition on the Forbes 25 Best Places to Work list, and add 2019 revenue: Citrix is publicly traded under the ticker symbol CTXS.[4] In 2019, the company ranked 767 on the Fortune 1000 and 1,267 on Forbes Global 2000.[5][6] Forbes has also named Citrix in its 25 Best Places to Work list.[7] Citrix's revenue in 2015 equaled US$3.28 billion,[8] an increase from $3.14 billion in 2014 and $2.91 billion in 2013.[9] In 2019, Citrix generated $3.01 billion in revenue.[2]

- Hi @Inkian Jason:, thank you for using the request edit template and your patience in getting your edits implemented. Here are some comments about your request:
- Source 1, 2 and 3 are broken links. Can you find this information elsewhere? I suggest the US SEC website [1] where companies file various information about their company.
- Source 4: the information is already added in the article.
- Source 5 and 6: I found the most updated list (for 2020) and used that information and sources
- Source 7: I am not going to add this achievement. Awards and achievements should only be added if the award is notable, and since this award doesn't have a Wikipedia page it is not deemed notable at this time.
- Source 8 and 9 will be updated with 2019 numbers when they are sourced.
- Please post responses below and let me know if you have any questions. I am marking this ticket as answered. Z1720 (talk) 19:19, 23 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Z1720: Thanks for reviewing this request! Sorry, seems the links I cited had changed since I posted. I've updated my requests with fresh links to the SEC filings (as you suggested) and amended my proposed paragraph for Operations based on your feedback and recent edit.

- Hi @Inkian Jason: I have updated in the info in the infobox. I replaced 2015 information with the 2019 info because the 2015 numbers were not notable. Z1720 (talk) 22:41, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Z1720: Thanks! One last question for you for this request. The fourth paragraph of the introduction includes 2017 revenue compared to 2016, and the 2017 employee count. I recommend this be removed (leaving one less place in need of regular updates) or updated to: In 2019, Citrix generated $3.01 billion in revenue and had 8,400 employees.[1][2]

Wrike acquisition
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello! I'd like to propose an update to Acquisitions, which I am requesting on behalf of Citrix as part of my work at Beutler Ink.
The article currently says, "In January 2021, Citrix announced its intention to acquire Wrike for $2.25 billion." I propose adding the following text:
- Citrix completed the acquisition in March 2021.[1]

Are any editors here willing to review the proposed change and update the article appropriately on my behalf? Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 19:04, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Z1720: I'd also invite you to review this request based on your help above. Thanks! Inkian Jason (talk) 19:26, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi Inkian Jason Unfortunately I am not reviewing edit requests at this time. In the interest of fairness, when I return to reviewing requests I will start with the oldest ones. Thanks for your understanding. Z1720 (talk) 19:38, 29 March 2021 (UTC)

Leadership change
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hello! I'd like to propose an update to History, which I am requesting on behalf of Citrix as part of my work at Beutler Ink.
David Henshall is no longer CEO. While the infobox has been updated, I propose adding the following text to History:
- Henshall stepped down in October 2021 and Calderoni was again named interim CEO.[1]
References
- ^ Condon, Stephanie (October 6, 2021). "Citrix names Bob Calderoni as interim CEO, president". ZDNet. Retrieved October 14, 2021.
If editors prefer the use of third-party sources, you could also use the reference I've cited here to replace the press release used in the infobox.
Are any editors here willing to review the proposed change and update the article appropriately on my behalf?
