Cityferry/Cross River stopping pattern/s
editAnybody think this page merits a table analogous to the railway articles e.g. Beenleigh railway line, Brisbane? (connecting buses/trains, connections to the CityCat services etc). SM247 05:02, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have a prototype up on my user page. SM247 21:32, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Brisbane Ferries
editI recently created a page called Brisbane Ferries these two pages need to be merged. Also I understood the Ferries were run by River Connections and on the Brisbane Transport page it was recently changed to Metrolink Queenslandany feedback welcome --Matt 10:20, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- The problem in concern is Metrolink Queensland operates ferry services on behalf of Brisbane Transport, so that makes Metrolink Queensland the operator of the ferries and Brisbane Transport the operator of the buses right? I do see the point of Brisbane Ferries but I think it should be more of history and includes other private services like Moggill Ferry, Dutton Park ferry, etc whereas Metrolink Queensland on the operational level (which dedicates more details to CityCat, CityFerry, on the service/operation side). CityFerry and CityCat deserves its own page rights, like railway lines imho. matt-(my page-leave me a message) 01:57, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
== History ==
editI recently added a short note here about History of the Brisbane Ferries after a discussion with Matt ke, I believe it should be moved back to Brisbane Ferries which will deal with historical details and this page left for current operational information, unless someone can see a good reason why it should be left and expanded on. Second point I have a complete list of names of all ferries and their builders and all other details, I believe all of them are still in service, should this table go on Brisbane Ferries or on Cityferry, Brisbane--Matt 00:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
