Cleaning suburbs in LGAs to remove redlinks
editHi, Can people who know about this LGA please have a look at this message and see if they can please help solve any of the redlinks in the "suburbs in this LGA" section of this page? (Usually solution is either to add a stub about the suburb / locality in question, or to remove it from the LGA's list). -- All the best, Nickj (t) 04:19, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I'm a resident of the area, I've cleaned out a couple that technically aren't suburbs, and added the requisite pages for a couple that are. Also I updated the mayor from Jackie Greenow to John Thaine. theprawnassassin
I lived in Penrith for over 20 years and have never heard of some of these suburbs. So I checked the council's site and found that they don't recognise that many either. So I've deleted all the dead links and redirected a couple of live ones i.e. Mt Pleasant, Lemongrove. I have also changed the template to reflect this. If someone wanted to ressurect these localities as "unnofficial neighbourhoods" rather than suburbs, that would be fine but let's not do that until someone is prepared to write more than a stub. - Thank you for doing this! I'll cross City of Penrith off of the list of LGAs that have cruft in them. Also I completely agree with you about the unofficial neighbourhoods. -- All the best, Nickj (t) 00:21, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
